If you bought 1000 shares at $ 1 dollar a share the total cost of the trade would be $ 1007 dollars. Commission gets added in to the cost on the buy side automatically.

If you sold your shares at $ 2 dollars a share the proceeds would be $ 2000-$ 7=$ 1993. Commission is deducted from the proceeds on the sale side automatically.

This is the way the IRS sees it as well. To the IRS you made $ 1993-$ 1007 and will have to pay taxes on the difference.

I was in the same boat you are in Selah. I was doing ok with Forex but I wassn't making a lot of money, nor did I have much money to invest.

I started surfing the internet to find a solution to my problem. I stumbled upon a site which claims that you'll only need 15 minutes a day to earn a substential income each month. I was a bit sceptical at first, but I thought that I had to give it a try because so many people said such good things about it and were earning big amounts of money. You can see the site here: http://productreviewsforyou.info/forexformula.php

I'm glad I purchased the product. It has changed my forexexperience forever. The product explains why 95% of the people that are in the Forex buisiness fail and what you can do to prevent that and increase your earnings. I'm really enthousiastic about this product and I want dedicated people like you to know it's out there.

I'm looking forward to hear about your experiences.

Best of luck!

forex is better, less pairs to track, good leverage built in, excellent liquidity and accessability, 24 hour market, trends last for days weeks or months, no commissions, just get on and ride.

what a market. no negatives. its the future of worldwide trading.

It will be up to the new lender as to when you will be able to finance a new vehicle. Generally, you can obtain credit less than a year after receiving your discharge (although it may not be on very good terms), and if you have been diligent about rebuilding your credit then after 2 years most creditors won't care about the bankruptcy anymore.

Forex and futures are both high leveraged in comparison to stocks.

Forex and futures tend to have lower commissions and fees.

The principles of trading all three are the same. You can make or lose money in any of them.

The main difference between trading stocks and futures is the leverage involved.

In a stock margin account, you can trade at 2:1 or 4:1 leverage. In a futures account, you can trade the E-mini or Dow mini futures with 20:1 or 40:1 leverage. This causes your profits and losses and account value to be extermely volatile, and very dangerous if you trade at maximum leverage. In a futures account, you can lose more than you have invested.

Forex is just another form of futures account, except here, the maximum leverage is 200:1. Wo, how much trouble can we get into now? You have to be aware of the economic reports for the currencies traded and the US reports, like GDP, retail sales, and particularly interest rate adjustments and differentials. Unless you are willing to trade gap trades, the opportunity is very little here compared to the huge move from the report. These trades can be very plodding, in between reports. Or some big news announcement will break, or someone declares war, or sets off a bomb, and blows you completely out of the trade. Trading the forex is not for the beginner or faint of heart. Find a good simulator and practice, practice.

If you read your question you will have the answer to your troubles. You say you have a newer car; ask yourselves what reason do you have for wanting even a newer car. The clue is in the word WANT, you see you do not NEED it you simply want it. I will venture to say are are an impulse buyer which always get people in trouble and I am sure money simply burns a hole in your pocket until you spend it AND you are spending it on junk etc, things you do not need.

You have made it obvious why you are bankrupt. You do not think properly for knowing your kind of brains you have always purchased what you wanted instead of what you NEED. What you should do is begin reducing your liabilities and increasing your cash on hand. And of course you will want to know how you do that.........well that is a long drawn out story and only to be answered by a counselor but if I knew your situation such as income, payables etc etc I could help you BUT only if you are willing to listen!

Trading stock is buying or selling shares of the corporation which is register by Stock Exchange Market , then you made earn money by paying less to purchase and sell it at a higher price.
Forex is trading on the contract of the future of the currency, they have different month on different currency, you could loss your all your initial investment money if you don't know what you are doing. Even a very experience or professional trader will loss all the money.
There is a lot of Forex agents keeping calling randen people
to open an account and made a lots of money loss all their money too. Try to read Wall Street journal or Investor Business Daily to understand the basic before doing anything, It is very risky (almost like gambling)

Technical - Price Channels - Major Support Resistance
Fundamental Interest Rates - Market expectations price in future rises or cuts -
Economics recession etc -
Mergers - Acquisitions Cash offers for Companies in a different currency
Flights to safety, on political reactions or uncertainty of leadership (elections etc), resignations, financial crisis, acts of terrorism, wars etc.
If Bernanke resigned and you know how to play it is simple.
Good Luck keep trades small while you learn.

Are you in the US? Or are you Canadian in Canada?

I'd go with Canadian ShareOwner. Technically they're not a "broker," but that's just a name. $ 9 to buy. Free reinvestment. No minimums. (And no, I don't work for them! I just love them because I spent a long time researching just this question.)

And if you like indices, they're great for ETFs.

Hi William,

the forex market is a global market. Many factors drive it. Global issues. Financial issues. Political issues. The main point is that sentiments drive it.

For example, if there is a major war in a country now, that country's currency may drop due to investors fear of it's stability.

You definitely need lots of hard work to succeed! You are welcome to visit my forex learning blog if you want to learn more.

The markets these days can be unpredictable and without tools, knowledge and a plan, you're unlikely to have much success. There are a number of charting and education sites that won't cost you anything to use and will help you to build knowledge and confidence.

One is stockcharts.com devoted to technical analysis of stocks. They have lots of free resources like a weekly newsletter and great stock charts, as well as some paid services. I use only the free ones and use their charting regularly

A very nice stock charting software that is free to use for as long as you like is at quotetracker.com - I have used it for nearly 10 years and it can build charts that are simple or very advanced. You'll need a connection to a data feed for the charts; some are free and some can be expensive.
The software was originally developed independently but was purchased by TD Ameritrade brokerage about two years ago, so if you have an account with them, you'll also get free stock charting data to run the software. The software has a ton of features, and can be a little intimidating, but I use it daily and like it a lot.

For something a bit simpler, another way to go would be an all in one free applcation like the-market-toolbox.com - there again are sections that are free and some paid services, but all the basics like charting, research, and trading ideas are all free. They have you register to download the software and they will likely start sending email, but the list is easy to unsubscribe if you choose.

There are many choices available in the market that are free or very cheap and you only need to decide what sort of trading or investing appeals to you in order to narrow things down. An article I came across recently may help you to answer that question : http://preview.tinyurl.com/ahoacy

Earning a living with Forex is dependent on three factors. First, your starting account balance. Second, your actual performance level. And third, your living requirements.

If you are opening an account with $ 500...the answer is no...you will not be able to make a living at Forex. Even $ 1000, $ 5000, $ 10,000 or $ 25,000 would not be enough of an initial account size to make a comfortable living in the Forex market.

The next area of importance is your skill as a Forex trader or the effectiveness of the strategy that you follow. If you are a 50/50 trader and win on half of your trades and lose the other half you cannot make a living at Forex. If you have the time, the patience, the discipline and the knowledge to make at least 20 pips in 4 out of 5 days of daily trading you may have a good shot at making a living from the Forex market.

I also personally know quite a few conservative Forex hedge traders that consistently make over 8% return per month.

Here is where things get interesting. Let's say that you have an account of $ 100,000. If you were to earn over 8% per month and only draw off 4% ($ 4000) per month you may be able to live quite comfortably with that income level. And your account balance would continue to grow, more than doubling every 18 months.

So I guess a good goal would be accumulate an investment amount of $ 100,000 before deciding to simply live off of your Forex investment. It is amazing to me how many people are working very hard while they have well over $ 100,000 sitting in CDs, money market accounts and mutual funds earning only 3% to 10% per YEAR.

The final point to keep in mind is to decide if you want to spend the bulk of your time sitting in front of the computer day trading, or you want to go through the stress of hoping that you guess the news releases correctly as a fundamentals trader. Or would you prefer to be a conservative Forex hedge trader spending about 30 minutes a week to manage an account of any size.

I wish you well and I hope that you can soon realize your goal of generating a comfortable living through Forex trading.

I have an analysis looking the results of different Forex strategies that you may find interesting. It will help show you what is achievable and what is not.

I use Sharebuilder (or ING Direct)

I don't like paying the commission, but to get over that I buy a lot of stocks at a time to offset the commision. I only use the basic investment options, but you can sign up for a account with more options, which you pay a monthly fee for, but you pay less fees when buying stocks or mutual funds. Most mutual funds they sell you have to pay a $ 1000.00 minimum or a monthly payment of $ 100 till the minimum amount is met

Hope this help.

Look at your convention center. Call the chamber of commerce. They will tell you when the next shows are. Then you can just purchase space. Best idea is to contact a company like Sho Link that can take care of the space details.

It is true that the broker gets paid for an above par rate but not true that they are paid more for an adustable rate. The reason that some brokers and lenders for the matter push an adjustable rate is that it is lower than a fixed rate and "easier to sell". It's unfortunate but many loan officers are just sales people and will sell what they think is easiest instead of what is best for you.

If you are in the process of buying a home and have already signed the purchase contract but did not state the fact that you were an agent or presently are a broker you need an addendum to state that your are a licensed real estate agent/broker. Did you use an agent to acquire the property? If so there would be a buyer's agent and a seller's agent already stated on the contract. You can not be a party to the commission as you were not acting as an agent or broker when the original purchase contract was written.

There is no paperwork to get you out of paying the 3% commission as you have already signed a legal and binding document.

Please be aware that you could be in jeopardy of being fined by the Board of Realtors and get your Broker in trouble if you insist on trying to get the commission. This can be looked upon as non-disclosure even though you are the buyer but with the fact of being a licensed agent/broker the Board of Realtors will not look on you kindly.

Although you can open a mini forex trading account for less than $ 500, you really need about $ 2,500 to make meaningful profit. Also, try not to leverage too much 2:1 or 3:1. Most traders who get wiped out generally had very high leverage, 50:1, 100:1, etc

Unless you have a fixed-rate mortgage, the current mortgage interest rates are very important to deciding how much you should pay every month<!--therefore it is always a good idea to keep an eye on what the rates are doing. If interest rates should rise, so will your monthly payments and again, if interest rates were to fall, so would the amount you would have to pay.

http://mortgages-finance.awardspace.com/Mortgage-Rate-Compare.htm

Monthly repayments made on your mortgage and the amount that was borrowed, is determined by current mortgage interest rates. Different-->companies offer different interest rates so it is a good idea to shop around for the best deal before settling on one particular lender.

Invest only what you can afford to lose. Most trading platforms offer mini accounts where you can start trading with minimum of $ 50 to $ 250. Trade only with leverage of 1:1 (only invested money) and never go beyond 10:1.

to me its mechanic.
the truth is all trades make decent money, but if u want to make a lot. you have to be best in any trade. tonnes of money comes with tonnes of talent, hard-work n dedication.
the main idea of trade worker is worker who has a skill (lot of people have skill like singing, dancing etc etc) but the one who is best in skill takes the big chunk home.
lot of time general population thinks that trade workers dont have much skill its just a job but trust me if u get best in your trade u will know what i am talking ( no matter which trade).

Hi,

A very important aspect of this question is the leverage in forex.

I strongly suggest you look into this issue and select your leverage ratio. There is a very good article for you to read about lleverage at:
www.forex-signals-4u.com/education.html

Your second choice is how to select a forex broker that can accomodate your selected leverage. At the same above location there is an article about how to select Forex companies.

Hope the above helped.

1. My broker is Scottrade. They only charge commissions on a buy or sell. The only other fees are for trading option contracts, broker assistance, money transfers, and a few other minor fees that have never applied to me.

2. See 1.

3. It depends, but the short answer is yes.. If you sold the stock that year and made a profit, then you owe taxes. If you lost money, you get a tax deduction of up to $ 3,000 maximum. Remember, the $ 3,000 is not "per stock" but for overall investing gains or losses through the year. For example, If you made $ 5,000 on one stock and lost $ 3,000 on a different stock, you still have to pay taxes on the $ 2k profit you made.

4. There's way too much to learn about options to even give a half-assed explanation here. I suggest http://education.optionseducation.org/ to get you started. There is a lot to learn, so be patient.

I don't think there is any such robot. I have no direct experience in trading with robots but I have done lot of research and most of the reliable sources say that robots are not worth it. There have been many scams also where some scammers brought in a robot in the market and literally ran away with people's money. I would recommend that you stay away from robots. However if you have to them look at FAP Turbo. I am not affiliated with them in any way but found some good press about them when I was doing research.

Yes, there's an opportunity to double one's money, but as has been pointed out, odds are against it.
While forex trading has it's own methods and reasons, it is considered more of a gamble versus stock trading which is supposed to be based on sound business practice and knowledge of a company. However, while stocks generally aren't considered gambling, with market manipulations becoming more common than in the past via government, market makers, shady business practice, and technical advances which allow rapid changes, stocks have become more risky than they used to be.

1. Most charge only when you buy or sell a stock. Some charge a fee if your account is very small (under $ 10,000).

2. Some don't even charge that if you buy or sell certain mutual funds. There is usually a fixed fee plus so much per share. Some, like Scottrade, only charge a single $ 7 fee for any size transaction. Some of the big stock brokers charge a lot more. For a $ 25,000 buy with Scottrade ($ 7), Merrill Lynch wanted $ 497 !

3. You file and pay each year if you sell a stock that year or if you get stock dividends that year.

4. An option is a contract for you to buy or sell a stock by a certain date in the future for a price agreed upon today.

Common Sense gave you a very good response but being young and naive you'll probably ignore it.

All major firms provide their clients with on-line trading platforms. But when it comes to cheap or even penny stocks most firms try to stay away from these stocks and the people that what to "trade" them. For a broker it's very expensive to provide trading and clearing services to their clients for penny stocks.

You can go to Zecco for now and when you learn what it's all about then you can go out and get a real brokerage firm. But for the current here's some website you can go to for information about cheap and penny stocks

If you were using 200:1 leverage, you would need to make about 50 pips a day to double your money. A little less if you make many trades and are compounding.
In theory, it is mathematically possible to double your money every day
if you use extreme leverage and have some unbelievable win ratio, However, it is so unrealistic, to do it for any period of time, that you have as much chance to win lotto.
Do yourself a favor, and stop thinking in terms of real easy money very fast. More often than not, it is a road to disaster.
Take your time, learn to trade and, with time, you could be able to extract above average returns from Forex without huge leverage.

A. There's a "load" when you buy them On average that's $ 575 per every $ 10,000 you invest.
B. There's "internal fees" annually that they get a kick back on.
C. You may pay a annual ridiculous fee of 1% or more to "manage" your portfolio.

The fees could be one or all of the above. If it's an "annuity", congratulations......... your broker has made a significant amount of money for selling you a very poor product.

The Federal government warns there are a lot of Forex frauds out there, and these Forex robots appear to be one type of these scams. If these robots really worked, there would be scads of articles about them in the Wall Street Journal and other financial publications talking about them. When I do a web search, I can not find a single reputable news article encouraging the use of Forex robots. The link below is a Federal website warning you about Forex fraud.

There are a lot of people on the Internet claiming they have done very well using Forex robots. These appear to be of two types. One is the outright liars. For instance, you might meet a person called "Zboy227" who says "I made a lot of money using ScamRobot2000, go to their website at ScamRobot .com/Zboy227." The "/Zboy227" tells the website that Zboy227 has referred you. If you buy the product, Zboy227 gets a commission. He is only lying to you to get a commission.

There is a lot of luck in Forex. Sometimes you will run into people on the web who have tried a robot for a few days and have had some beginner's luck with it. They start bragging about how well they have done. Later, they start to lose money, but they rarely get back on the web and talk about how much money they lost. People like to brag about their successes, but rarely talk about their losses. The result is that much of the feedback about these Forex robots is positive.

I may point out that websites that sell Forex robots admit there are a lot of scams out there. Of course they claim the other guy's robot is a scam, but their robot works. If you do a web search on the words "forex robot" and "scam" you will find a lot of sites saying their competitors are scams.

I will admit I have not personally tested every robot out there, and I can not prove they are all scams. But I would be very hesitant to spend a lot of money on a robot without clear proof it really works.

Penny stocks is the last place a newbie should be. It's not because they're "dangerous". It's because they have no reliable news or information. It's because many of them are easy to buy & hard to sell (liquidity). It's because you don't have 3-5 years of money trading management skills (risk control).

Zecco is one of the top brokers for novices. Many people go there because they're cheap. It's not because they're good or have good tools for you to profit from.

You will want a broker with an array of tools. For example;
Order types that are important;
Conditional
Trailing stops (by $ , entry, %, and perhaps chart action)
Other types of stops & limits.
Fill or kill.
etc.

Are you a fundamental or technical trader or investor?
(Graphs, studies, scans, research & news tools needed by you?)

Perhaps it's best for you to take 6-12 months and learn the basics before you look for a broker. There are plenty of great books out there.

Good luck.

There are opportunities to make money every day.

Most people have regular jobs = make money, low risk.

A number of people here trade = some make money, some lose money, most do both = higher risk.

Doubling your money every day? Might get lucky if you caught a trade right before anyone else did, but the odds are not likely. And the odds of doubling your money every day on any consistent bases, not going to happen. Never been done.

Here is your free test:

1. Flip a coin in the air. Call "heads" or "tails" at this time.
2. Where you’re right? If so, repeat the test. If you were wrong once, theory was dis-proven.

I would absolutely not trade penny stocks or any stocks under $ 5.00.

Rather, an introductory book like _Stock Markets for Dummies_ is a good place to start.
Investors Business Daily (IBD) is a solid daily resource (and its complement, www.investors.com ). It's a better newspaper than the Wall Street Journal and it is built around a particular approach to trading. You could read _How to Make Money in Stocks_ by William O'Neil too--he's the founder of IBD.

Search your local library for other books on stock investing. Try to absorb as much knowledge and understanding as you can. Eventually, you should open a brokerage account (check out TradeKing for cheap commissions) and paper trade for a while--this is practice (not real money), which you should do extensively before you put any real money at risk.

either or, depends on the shares("A" the broker is paid up front, "C" the broker is paid on the deferred load) bought and if it is in a managed solution (the loads are waived at that point and you pay a fee)

I strongly suggest you consider Forex Fap Turbo and you can get a good broker easily through them without a lot of extra hassle. Forex Fap Turbo is probably the most popular system on the go today.
http://fapturbo.automatedforexplatform.info

You might also want to check out the Forex Money Train software though in your case I might suggest the above. http://automatedforexplatform.com

The word "best" is a relative term, to which you do not illude; best spreads, best trading platform, best executions? A lot of beginners consider lowest spreads to be "best."

Whether forex brokers are "non dealing desks," I do not know, but easy enough for you to check out.

Spreads are fairly equivalent throughout the legitimate industry. That is not the most important question.

Your trading platform is most important, with a good data feed. Executions are more important than the spread, because they can eat up your penny or two spread difference on just a few trades if they're sneaky. The rules they apply are more important than any spread difference. I had one forex broker at FXDD that wouldn't take market orders in a fast market around reports. Incredulous.

Anyway, the best way to take a look at forex is to download NinjaTrader for free, and use the simulator that comes with it. The futures and forex datafeeds are free also.
http://www.ampfutures.com/index.php

The futures and forex data feeds are free. I get better fills with forex futures, but have NinjaTrader with forex spot installed on a separate computer and trade both. Futures margins are less than anywhere I've found, at $ 500 for forex futures and emini S&P and Dow. AmpFutures uses Dorman for their futures broker, and the Forex spot account is through Forex.com and Gain Capital. The Ninjatrader people will set you up with all of it.

I've tried several forex brokers and trading platforms, but Ninjatrader rocks, and it's free

I'm pretty sure Thinkorswim also allows trading of forex futures. In fact, most futures brokers will trade forex futures.

I would say stock trading is very risky now a days ... With all the financial slow down, it hard to see stock go up even for good companies.

My recommendation would be to try online forex trading. Volatility is huge and you are never dependant on any company staff ability to pull it off.

:Peace

Almost all forex brokers will offer you a negative balance protection where they will automatically close your position once you reach a level low enough to bust out. The reason they do this is because they will be liable for the money and may have a hard time recouping it from thousands of clients all over the world.

Hello,

Why traders fail? Great Question!

Over the years, after training hundreds of thousands of students, I noticed that the traders that failed, in all respects, were the ones that:

1. Opened small accounts of 25$ USD or 350$ USD (Faced too many stop-outs, then margin call)
2. Were under educated
3. Did not have the market resources (Indicators, Oscillators, fundamental news, etc)
4. Had no trading plan
5. Were not confident
6. Used margin as their stop loss

As the previous answers have noted, your investment in foreign exchange is always leveraged.

Your $ 50 investment will be leveraging about $ 5,000 of money, and if the tide turns against you, you could end up losing part, most or all of that $ 5,000. That's 100 times your investment.

Unless you are pretty savvy about leverage and options, don't try it. It is not for most people.

I’ve been using the FreedomRocks system and have came across a lot of posts on various forums and wanted to share my personal experience. First of all the system takes the guesswork and emotion out of trading on the Forex market. It’s a proprietary system that does 95% of the work and takes a few minutes per day to manage.

As we all know even experienced Forex traders can make big mistakes and most people end up loosing all of the money that they invest within the first couple of months. Unlike most forex programs FreedomRocks is not attempting to guess which way the market is going to move because quite frankly no one can predict that and that’s why the majority fail.

Let me emphasize that this is a long term investment strategy and not a get rich quick program. It’s a very simple and easy system to understand and I’ve never seen any other program where someone with no prior trading experience could invest in the market and actually be profitable.

The FreedomRocks system represents a complete paradigm shift from traditional Forex investment practices:

- The automated system does the trading for you

-No charts, no graphs and no more Guesswork

-Spend only 20 minutes per week managing your account

-Structures your trading: Buy Low/ Sell High

- Allows you to collect daily interest on leveraged money

-100% control over your money

I believe that this is the best system for trading on the Forex but of course I don’t expect anyone to take my word. I would encourage anyone looking for a smart way to trade in the market to take advantage of the 15-Day free trial so they can experience for themselves how it works.

For More information check out: www.wiseforexinvestor.com

* I’ve also created a worksheet to assist people in setting up their account using the system so if anyone be interested I would be more than happy to share it.

Best Regards,

I like sharebuilder, you can start small. Test your ideas, and they have lots of help!

Then watch Jim Cramer every night and also set up your yahoo finance with some stocks you like, something you know and buy. That way your money is coming back to you..hopefully and you'll be interested in your stocks more if you actually use them or the product.

you can get lower trades fees if you invest more money..

so it depends on how much money you have to invest right now. I just head to the companies website, then set up yahoo alerts and watch it and check out the comparables in the sector...

Bank of America has very low fee and 0 fees for some trades now too, and their site is nice.

I'm no expert though, if your wanting to be a full time day trader...i'm sure there is something better than what I've mentioned. So can't wait to see the answers!

Lack of patient.
one can't make fastest cash out of Forex.
Forex is not a cash machine.
One should Analise the market closely before making a trade.
Never use the whole amount of money yo have in ur account on a single trade.
If you failed in one trade never get frustrated, because there is always a second and third and even more chances for u to get succeeded.
So wish u good luck!!

It depends on whether you use margin purchases or not, and on how much leverage you use from your margin.

Stock brokers typically offer 2 to 1 margin, if your account is of a certain size. That means if you have $ 30,000 in your account you can invest up to $ 60,000. Forex brokers typically offer something outrageous like a 50 to 1 margin, meaning (you guessed it) $ 30,000 can purchase up to $ 1,500,000 worth of securities.

Margin trading is for very advanced, very experienced traders. I refuse to do it. Imagine if you had $ 30,000, invested $ 1,500,000, and sustained a 10% loss. You just lost $ 150,000. You only had $ 30,000 to start, so now you owe your broker $ 120,000 ($ 30,000 - $ 150,000 = -$ 120,000), and you owe any fees for borrowing on your margin (margin trading isn't free). Good luck paying that off.

I know the anxiety you must feel. There is so much out there to learn about the Forex in order to trade traditionally. Before I was introduced to the Forex I barely even knew what it was all about. I was then introduced to a revolutionary forex trading system, which has been levelling the trading playing field. It's called FreedomRocks. I looked into it a bit, tried their free demo, and have been investing in the Forex ever since. The reason it is revoltionary is because it does 95% of the work, it eliminates all guesswork, and it only takes about 20-30 minutes PER WEEK to manage an account of any size. There is a product video at www.simple4xinvesting.com Please feel free to call or email me at anytime as I love sharing my experience using this system with others!

Best Regards

I like sharebuilder, you can start small. Test your ideas, and they have lots of help!

you can get lower trades fees if you invest more money..

so it depends on how much money you have to invest right now.

Trading forex is no more risky than any other trading vehicle if you scale back the leverage. Leverage is a killer, especially if you're new. In fact, the Australian Dollar (AUD/USD) is a pretty good proxy for the Dow, and not that much different to trade. The two are highly correlated right now.

So the question, to me, is not about forex at all, but about trading in general. We all have the same information, access to the same platforms and indicators, etc. Aside from some obvious drawbacks that we can do nothing about, like being under-funded, I would say most people can't stay in the game long enough to learn the game. None of us like to be wrong, so we place blame elsewhere. There is a real hesitancy to address the real issues of the responsibility of trading. Not many stay in the game long enough to learn that the real issues are not with your trading platform or indicators (there are literally hundreds, if not thousands of workable trading systems and indicators), but rather within the individual.

Assuming you learn something first and don't just start trading with abandon, assuming you develop a Trading Plan, use good risk and money management, it is still probable you will fail. We're not talking about a childish approach to trading like most of the reasons given here (we know an ignorant childish person will lose), but rather doing everything in your power to learn to be a trader. The number one reason 90% of traders fail? We're talking about some really smart people that will never become traders -- because trading is 100% psychological.

You will think that learning more and working harder will fix it, like in any other J-O-B, but it doesn't work that way in trading. It takes guts as much as brains to adhere to discipline. You go through your entire life being schooled to be correct. In trading you have to throw that out the window quick.

Certainty is predicated on a myth. Certainty can never really be had in life. Why? Because certainty can only come into being when the future is fully known. People don’t realize either that all a trader can really hope for is a superb ability to assess the odds of being right. That’s all, and we have to learn to live with that. It is a fruitless activity from which there can be no rest, for it will never end. Paradoxically, peace and clarity of mind can only come into being when one realizes that “certainty” cannot be achieved. Tomorrow can never be known. Otherwise we are inviting a future that is wrought with failure, disappointment, and dismay.

Most traders we speak with have learning curves that have cost them between $ 15,000 and $ 70,000 and up to two years in time. Most people don't have that much money to lose, or that much time to learn.

I think a good site to begin your education is The Motley Fool (www.fool.com). They are an investment site for all investors and have a site www.caps.fool.com which allows you to trade stocks as and learn from more experienced traders. Additionally they have all sorts of information on picking good stocks. If you just want practice you can use www.top10traders.com which is good for more of the momentum trader aspect.

Hello,
I will make a list of traders fails:

1. Lack of knowledge
2. Greed
3. Fear
4. Wrong trading style

The easiest way to solve these fails - usage of automated Forex trading software.
As for beginner, my recommendation - ProFx, semi-automated Forex trading strategy that brought more than 350% of profit in last 14 months. See live and verified trading results on official website.

With you just starting out with forex I would suggest that you get yourself a system to work with and then get a demo account for one of the major forex players like forex.com.

When I started out I did a bit of reading, did a couple of trades with my demo account and made a nice profit, ony to see the wiped out by some bad decisions. It was at this point I discovered http://www.faqata.com/url/forex-trading-... and using this system in the demo account I couldnt believe how well I was doing, believe me you will be moving to a full forex trading account before you know it using this system.

The number one reason why any trader fails is through over trading!

Trading too high stakes versus how much capital they have available, a couple of bad trades and then they are soon in serious trouble.

You can't, there is a reason those listings are only available to the brokers.

I know times are tough but it is pretty rude to try to cheat someone out of a fee.

The particular website linked at the bottom specializes in giving novice/beginner forex-traders helpful fundamental information regarding large and detailed introductions on foreign exchange, forex-trading tips, concepts, fraud warning info, trading safety info and also excellent, detailed information on the Major currencies of the world and the Central Banks that go with it.

There is also an article written especially for novice traders, where a more advanced trader is writing about his experiences in forex-trading during one day. All these articles are for novices and beginners, but the very first link at the top of the list below is especially written for novices. On the home-page of the website, it will show the latest news on economies and forextrading and may help you while you trade.

I find this site particularly helpful since im still learning too! hope this helps!

Forex trading is not easy, only less than 10% of forex traders are able to make money from forex trading.

If you are interested to trade forex, I suggest you to sign up for a demo account. Trade until you able to consistently making profit before trading with your hard earned money.

Besides that, I suggest you go through these articles for Forex newbie.

If you are a beginner, i suggest you to use Marketiva, which is a very good platform to start trading with and very easy to use.

Marketiva gives you 5$ real to start trading so you don't have to deposit and if you made profit from it you can cash out, this is why it's very good for beginners. Their platform is very easy to use and they have support during trading hours for your questions, doubts etc.

They also have chat channels where you can talk, exchange opinions and ideas with traders of your country or international traders.

To open your account please visit http://bit.ly/cnW2mV
